    GOVERNMENT PHARMACY COLLEGE –SAJONG

    Government Pharmacy College Sajong (GPCS) in, Rumtek, Sikkim was established in 2018 under the aegis of  Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim with the Gazette notification No 331 dated 20.06.2018. This college offers B.Pharm course which is affiliated to Sikkim University and approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

    The college is located in the Green Village Sajong uphill towards the traveller’s much-loved and glorious destination, Rumtek Monastery, 22 km from Gangtok. It is surrounded by luxuriant greenery and vast stretch of paddy fields of Sikkim and the spectacular view of the mighty of Kanchenjunga at day Gangtok at night. The stunning surroundings and spectacular scenic beauty make it an ambient environment for students to learn and lead their career in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

    The college started with the vision of building the career of today’s youth in pharmaceutical Sciences as a backbone of the healthcare system to impart their services in Industry, Academia, Hospitals, Community, Research and Development of novel medicines and to improve healthcare outcomes and beyond.

    Our mission is to seek a “Centre of Excellence” in Pharmacy education, Research & Development, Community practice and Clinical services at the national and international level. The institute in pursuit of its vision and mission will provide outstanding education in pharmaceutical sciences through its learned and well experienced teachers including supportive environment for scholarship, research and integrity.

    As a strong believer of ‘Team work’, we focus on imparting interdisciplinary pharmaceutical education and collaboration to foster teaching-learning, research through faculty/student exchange, consultancy and training programs.
